Please hire a fact-checker. Previous posters have noted several mistakes. Add this to the list: The actress identified as Lucille Watson in Picture 6 is in fact Elizabeth Patterson.

Elizabeth Taylor was the most famous woman of her time, if not of all time. What a legacy she leaves with so many wonderful performances and stunningly beautiful photographs.

Ever wonder why there were no Elizabeth Taylor dolls? They couldn't keep their legs together long enough to get them in a box. Well, they finally got the old tramp in one.

reallyy? you have no respect!

You're a sick SOB!!!!!!!

Luv the photo, but fact-checking question: If it is dated 1930, how could she have been born in 1932? She's at least 2 years old there. (And btw, I saw this photo at least 10 years ago, with that date, so I'm guessing La Liz's true date of birth was lied about, as many were for child stars of the era.)

In Pic 12, the actress is Laraine Day, not Lorraine, and the airport was not yet JFK, as it was only 1955, and what was then Idlewild Airport was renamed for the assassinated president in 1963.

That first pic cannot be from 1930 as Elizabeth was not born till 1932!

good one

National Velvet was my first acquaintance with Elizabeth..I have followed her career and life because we are almost the same age and other than eye color ,very similiar except she is and was beautiful and talented . I am just me,but I admired her very much.

i've always admire Elizabeth taylor she is the best actress for me i will really miss her i wish i view her funeral

I have always admired Elizabeth Taylor and had the pleasure of photographing her and Richard Burton on their engagement back in the late 60s. They were both very well mannered and helpful.

I always loved watching Liz in movies. She was beautiful, feminine, sexy and unique. She is the end of an era in so many ways.
Elizabeth Taylor Eyes!!! I loved her in Cat On A Hot Tin Roof, with another icon, Paul Newman. I also liked the way she supported Michael Jackson with her friendship.
I'll miss seeing them on the screen!! A lovely woman.

Chris
